Mentoring
One of the greatest challenges faced by youths in Africa is lack of the right kind of mentors that would inspire, encourage and motivate them to be their best. Many young people are often left to figure out everything about life without the help and guidance of an adult or experienced person. Our E-mentoring programme provides youths with mentors who are experienced in the journey of life and have a passion to help young people avoid the pitfalls that some of them have experienced in their lives. Our e-mentoring programme lasts for a minimum duration of 4months and a maximum duration of 1year.
The definition of a mentee varies from one person to
another. A mentee may be seen as a young person who may be seeking guidance from
an adult other than his parents, or a young person who wants to work with
an experienced adult to achieve a specific goal(s).
You have thought over it and have made up your mind to
have a mentor, you just made one of the best decisions of your life. The aim of this training is to help you get the best from your mentorship programme, imagine spending so much on a dieting programme and still not achieving your desired goal? Well this training provides you with the basics of mentorship that will help you avoid common pitfalls and get the best from the programme. Your training guide will cover topics on how to form great relationships, mentee responsibilities, and how to end the relationship when the time comes. At the end of the training you would be required to write a short test just to be sure you have an understanding of the programme.
To begin, send a request mail to globalleaders02@yahoo.com, stating your desire to have an e-mentor and we will follow-up from there. click here to download our Mentoring Programme Guide.
