GLDA's top most priority is to help young people across Africa develop their leadership capacity. To this end we have an open door policy to partner with any organization working in the area of youth development and empowerment. We would also work with organizations that have similar objectives our work in line with our mission. Such partnership might be on a once off project e.g. to organize a workshop or seminar together etc. or a project that is going to last for a period of time. However due to our small staff capacity, we do not accept a partnership proposal exceeding a period of one year.

We also partner with youth-led organizations to execute community development projects by providing them with some resources that would facilitate the accomplishment of their projects. We achieve this top most priority by:

(1) Building the capacity of youth-led organizations to achieve set goals

(2) Acting as project evaluators to youth organizations embarking on community development projects

(3) Providing youth organizations with financial aid information and volunteer workers depending on their location.
